SafeCom-User Group
The SafeCom User Group, in which both the manufacturer and the user worked out the integration of INTERBUS into the safety technology (INTERBUS Safety), decided for the revolutionary safety control concept

Drivecom-User Group
TThe DRIVECOM User Group e.V. is an association of international drive manufacturers, universities, and institutes.

ENCOM-User Group
Various types of encoders are used in different industries. The ENCOM User Group has set itself the task of standardizing the most important encoder device functions and combining them in this profile for various encoders.

MMI-COM-User Group
Display and operating devices (MMI devices) are used in large numbers as text displays, terminals and graphic displays. The MMI-COM User Group has set itself the task of standardizing the most important MMI device functions and combining them in this profile for various MMI's.

PROCESS CONTROLLERS-User Group
The profile for process controllers is directed at users and device manufacturers of process controllers that are to be operated on a sensor/actuator bus. .

ROBOT CONTROLLERS-User Group
The profile for robot controllers is directed at users and device manufacturers of robot controllers that are to be operated on a sensor/actuator bus. This profile definition is a useful addition to standardized communication for the user and provides a generally valid agreement concerning data content and device behavior. These function settings standardize several important device parameters of a robot controller. In this way, when using these standard parameters, devices from various manufacturers behave in the same way in connection with the communication medium.

WELDING CONTROLLERS-User Group
Various types of welding controllers are used in different manufacturing industries. The WELDCOM User Group has set itself the task of standardizing the most important welding controller device functions and combining them in this profile. The profile for welding controller C0/C1 is directed at users and device manufacturers of welding controllers that are to be operated on a sensor/actuator bus. Since the devices have different hardware they were divided into function classes. This permits to combine different functions in one device without increasing the complexity of the communication interface. This profile definition is a useful addition to standardized communication for the user and provides a generally valid agreement concerning data content and device behavior. In this way, when using these standard parameter, devices from various manufacturers behave in the same way in connection with the communication medium.
